My mom will never be travelling again unless it is with me and even then, we shall see. The airport experience of New Orleans was enough for her. Maybe if after ostomy repair and new radiation if she regains strength she'll have the patience.
I've only ever lived in NYC in the same very large, rent controlled, utilities included apartment my entire life so any new place I visit has been an experience. Be it hotel or air bnb, by myself or with friends, its a true respite and change and I never get to explore as much as I wanted.
